Samsung’s biggest One UI 7 mistake had nothing to do with the delays

The launch of One UI 7 has been a mess. Samsung’s otherwise stellar update was overshadowed in part by the fact that it arrived several months late compared to other Android 15 updates, and then had additional delays on top of that. But I think Samsung made a much bigger mistake in One UI 7 that we’re only seeing now as it rolls out to the masses.

Apple Invites is a great idea, but Google Photos and Calendar could make it even better

Earlier this week Apple released its latest app, Apple Invites, as a clever combination of iCloud services for digital event invitations. Apple Invites is a great idea, but one that I can’t help but feel like, with products like Calendar, Gmail, and Photos at the ready, Google could have done better.

This week, Samsung launched its new Galaxy S25 series and, in so many ways, it’s just a slightly newer version of the same thing. From the perspective of someone who’s job is to talk about these devices, it’s getting really boring, yet these devices still continue to sell. So, are you actually happy with these devices?
