Samsung has updated these Galaxy devices to Android 15

After a lengthy delay, Samsung has officially launched its Android 15 update – One UI 7 – with a major redesign, new features, and more. Here’s everything you need to know about Samsung’s Android 15 update including which devices have been updated, the schedule, and what’s new.

What’s new in Android 15 on Samsung Galaxy?

Android 15 isn’t a huge update on its own, but Samsung is using it to reinvent the experience of using a Galaxy device, with One UI 7 being a major update to the company’s Android skin.

Changes include a new Quick Panel that’s split from the notifications panel, enabling more space for setting toggles and a cleaner overall look. This is enabled by default, but you can switch back to the original design. The app drawer now scrolls vertically, matching the experience of Pixel and many other Android phones. You’ll also find more customization for app icons and large folders on the homescreen. The multitasking UI has been redesigned, with blur effects found throughout the system. The “Now Bar” and Live Notifications act similar to Live Activities on iPhone.

The changes keep going, and we’ve got a full breakdown of everything you should know about.
